In this position you will receive tips in addition to hourly pay. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the takeout counter, establishing a welcoming atmosphere. Accurately take and input orders using POS system ensuring all details are correct. Prepare and package food orders efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage phone inquiries with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette, assisting guests with their questions or special requests. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery to the guest. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout area, including counters, packaging stations, and storage spaces. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally, fostering positive experiences that encourage repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with restaurant guest services is advantageous. Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and hospitality standards enhances your ability to excel in this role. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are vital for creating a welcoming environment.
