General Manager, FO Supervisor Job Description:
Provide a enjoyable first impression by engaging guests arriving to the hotel. Assist hotel guests with check-in and introduce them to our offerings, such as our rooftop restaurant, Soma, our first floor cafe, Dweller, our back lawn cantina, Rosa and our pool. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Gather, summarize, and provide local area knowledge to inform guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and local activities. Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., valet, shuttle, housekeeping, Food & Beverage) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem.
Job Responsibilities:
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using professional language. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support our team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Job Qualifications:
Prior hospitality experience highly preferred, but not mandatory. Must have weekend availability.
Education:
High school diploma or higher preferred but not mandatory •
