ROLE OVERVIEW

Compensation:

$12 per hour depending on experience. Actual rate may vary based on local wage requirements, qualifications, and business needs.

The Service Desk Representative is the welcoming face of VIVE, responsible for creating a positive first impression for every member and guest who walks through the door. This role combines hospitality, sales support, and operational duties to ensure the front-desk experience reflects VIVEs commitment to motivation, community, and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIESEssential FunctionsWelcome members and guests with energy and enthusiasm; manage the check-in process efficientlyAnswer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and relay messages accuratelySchedule service appointments and process reservations in person and by phoneAssist members with retail purchases and club-service transactions at the point of sale membership information with prospective members and refer qualified leads to the sales teamMaintain thorough knowledge of all VIVE programs, classes, and amenitiesActively promote club services, events, and special offersKeep the front-desk area and common spaces clean, organized, and well stockedManage food-service inventory and oversee locker and laundry service operationsMaintain the communication log and lost-and-found ledgerComplete injury, illness, and security incident reports promptlyProvide emergency first aid to members and guests when neededWork collaboratively with all departments to support seamless club operationsTake on additional duties as assigned by your supervisorAdditional ResponsibilitiesPromote upcoming events, programs, and services to members during interactionsSupport overall club cleanliness and organization throughout your shiftAttend site-wide meetings and ongoing training sessionsAssist with incident documentation and safety reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

& EDUCATIONPrior experience in a health or fitness club environment is a plusFamiliarity with membership management or POS systems preferredStrong customer-service skills with a friendly, professional demeanorHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredDetail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong verbal communication skillsComfortable with basic computer applications and willing to learn new systemsCurrent AED/CPR/First Aid certificationAuthorization to work in the United States
