Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist with a passion for helping students thrive! This contract role supports Extended School Year (ESY) programming, working with students in a positive, collaborative environment. The assignment is conveniently scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM, with an orientation session on Monday, June 29th. The program runs from June 29th through August 6th, making it an ideal fit for professionals seeking summer employment with meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
Valid PA SLP Educator License required Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of pediatric therapy methodologies Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting special education students Excellent communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group physical therapy services for ESY students Develop and implement treatment plans to promote mobility, strength, and independence Collaborate with special education staff, administrators, and families to meet student needs Maintain accurate records and progress notes as required Support students in achieving goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in orientation and professional development as scheduled This position offers a pay range of $38-$45 per hour, providing a rewarding way to make a difference during the summer months.
