We are hiring candidates with Saturday and Sunday availability, 3pm-11pm. This is an outdoors position.

SUMMARY:
Performs protective and enforcement functions in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property to maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors and ensure the safety of company/customer assets. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving and departing guests and tenants, while managing both external and internal calls, and communicating messages. Monitors security cameras and dispatches security personnel as needed. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a golf cart.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure every interaction (including first time visitors and returning long-term client employees) receive exceptional customer service through warm greetings, suitable recommendations, and improvised solutions, if needed.
  • Provide appropriate assistance as needed to tenants, their employee, guests, and visitors in expedient and professional manner while adhering to company and building policies.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to meet or exceed the expectations of the visitor.
  • Offer suggestions of hotel services, local events, venues and transportation options.
  • Assure prompt and positive action on all complaints, questions, and concerns.
  • Maintain visual contact with the entry points at all times when you are not interacting with tenants or guests.
  • Ensure tenants, visitors, messengers, and vendors follow access control procedures, according to building policy.
  • Assist tenants needing help getting in/out of the parking and garage area.
  • Control after hour access to the lobby through the admittance process
  • Screen visitors, vendors, and client employees in an efficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the site or facility
  • Monitor the cameras; address any suspicious activities appropriately by dispatching security.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of assigned areas proving maximum visibility
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
  • Immediately responds to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to tenants and guests.
  • Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, activated alarms, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, suspicious activity., and other incidents or conditions
  • Maintain logs, prepare incident reports, daily activity reports and communicate accordingly to client management, life and safety personnel and/or public safety authorities, as required
  • Continuous communication between management and security supervisor.
Communication needs to flow effectively to and from each shift.
This includes:
communicating building and security issues, comments or complaints.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of security procedures/methods and fire safety.
  • CPR and First Aid Training preferred.
  • Patrolling and report writing experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequently required to stand and walk
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
  • Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds
