Job Description
We are looking for an eager individual that wants to become part of a vibrant, conscious community of outgoing creative artist that represent Grit & Grace with intention. We are inviting and calling in someone who will bring joy, kindness, collaboration, open honest communication, creativity, willingness to learn conscious leadership skills, and magic to the workplace! Hospitality and a meaningful connection to our community is at the heart of this role. This means you must genuinely enjoy meeting new people and feel comfortable authentically expressing yourself while working with the most amazing and inspiring team you could ever imagine. It is our intention to ensure each customer that walks through our doors has a very welcoming experience, where we show them exactly what southern hospitality is all about. This position requires you learn how to assemble permanent jewelry. This does require a steady hand and confidence. Plenty of training will be provided however, you must be open to learn this skill. There is also a $5 commission per piece of jewelry made. With this position, you will also have the opportunity to explore window and display merchandising, creating unforgettable memories with our guests, assembling blessing beads + ornaments, inventory organization, calligraphy, styling our guests, painting, and more. We truly believe at Grit & Grace the World is Your Oyster and if there is some aspect of the business you are interested in exploring, we will create an opportunity for cross training or continued education for a deep dive. While working at Grit & Grace you can expect to grow personally and professionally, be able to express yourself freely and be heard, and you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community. You will be included in company book clubs, farmers markets, oyster recycling/collecting, and product training. Availability We have two openings Our flagship store at 125 King St. is also looking for a full-time team leader to assist our store manager. This position will include weekend hours as well Role requirements: Able to make people feel at home and welcomed while shopping an approachable demeanor and kind smile!
