This comprehensive approach to treatment, the gold standard in care for opioid use disorder, has been shown to prevent more deaths from overdose and lead to long-term recovery. Day in the Life of a Peace Attendant Maintaining a calm and peaceful environment while observing signs of disorder and disturbances. Maintaining organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Maintaining a high visibility presence and preventing all illegal or inappropriate actions. Reporting in detail any disturbances, illegal or inappropriate actions. Patrol the building and perimeter regularly. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Guard against theft and maintain security with a "hands off" approach. Non-Violent interventions only will be utilized. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency. Circulate among visitors, patients, and employees to preserve order and protect property. Warn people of rule infractions or violations. Education and Experience requirements At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required. Security experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Lived Addiction experience is a plus. Schedule Monday-Friday; 4:45am-11:30am Position Benefits Have a daily impact on many lives. Excellent training if you are new to this field.
