Description:
The Reservationist is responsible for managing the central and dining reservation desk at the club. This role involves providing information on food and beverage events, assisting with the daily operations of the restaurant, handling reciprocal and concierge requests, and offering exceptional service to members and guests.Requirements:

Speaks to members and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language that is consistently positive and respectful. Knowledge of the club's dining reservation system and related procedures. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure. Proficient use of computer operating systems and office suites including Microsoft and reservations software/database.JOB TASKS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees reservations and seating for the club's dining venues, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Assists members and guests in locating daily private functions and events within the club. Handles all reciprocal requests and concierge needs for members. Manages phone communications and responds to inquiries regarding reservations and club activities. Maintains a waiting list and provides reservation updates during peak periods. Monitors and responds to member feedback via surveys and other feedback channels. Provides administrative support as required by the F&B Director and Food & Beverage Manager. Attends meetings, seminars, and training sessions as needed, contributing input as appropriate. Addresses work-related inquiries from employees or club members. Reports any malfunctioning office equipment or fixtures. Ensures familiarity with and adherence to the Employee Handbook and Club Policies. Assists with marketing efforts to promote the club's food and beverage areas.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum one (1) year of prior experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Prior experience in private club (preferred) or hospitality industry.TECHNICAL/OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and reservation software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities. Hospitality skills and customer service orientation are essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality, professionalism, and member relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both members and guests. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to maintain composure during high-volume phone calls and in-person requests. Frequent repetitive motions. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoor conditions. Indoor and outdoor - ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions. Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, sophisticated environment.
