Our Facility About Us:
At Smart Dog Dallas , we believe dogs are social beings who deserve a safe, happy, and healthy environment. As an owner-operated facility specializing in open-play daycare, boarding, and training, we are the "smarter" way to do dog care. We're looking for a highly organized administrative whiz to be the face of our facility for both our human clients and their furry family members.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
Act as the first point of contact—greeting clients, answering phones, managing emails, and giving facility tours.
The Command Center:
Manage the daily schedule for daycare, boarding, and training appointments with high precision.
Safety First:
Maintain detailed health and vaccination records for every dog in our care to ensure a safe environment.
Dog Logistics:
Handle dogs safely during check-ins and check-outs, including proper door control and leash handling.
Facility Pride:
Keep the lobby and front desk organized, presentable, and sanitized.
Collaboration:
Work closely with our animal care team to report any health or behavior changes noticed during check-in.
What We're Looking For:
The Ultimate Multi-tasker:
Ability to shift attention quickly between tasks under distracting conditions without losing accuracy. The "Dog Nerd": A passion for dogs and a willingness to learn canine behavior and body language.
Reliability:
We need someone punctual and dependable—our pups and their parents rely on us every day!
Physical Ability:
Must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds, being on your feet, and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
Availability:
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
