This role serves as the primary point of coordination between future residents, leasing, maintenance, and operations to ensure units are move‑in ready, documentation is complete, and expectations are clearly communicated. The Move‑In Coordinator is highly organized, service‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. This position partners closely with the leasing team and may participate in leasing activities, renewals, and resident events as needed to support occupancy and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Move‑In & Resident Coordination Serve as the main point of contact for incoming residents prior to and during move‑in. Coordinate move‑in dates, orientations, and key handoffs. Ensure all move‑in requirements are completed, including lease documents, utilities confirmation, and required approvals. Communicate move‑in instructions clearly and proactively to residents. Operational Readiness Partner with maintenance and property teams to confirm units are move‑in ready. Schedule and track unit inspections, punch work, and final walk‑throughs. Monitor move‑in readiness timelines and escalate issues as needed. Leasing & Sales Support Support leasing activities, including tours, applications, and lease execution, as coverage is needed. Assist with renewals, resident follow‑ups, and customer service touchpoints. Participate in leasing or renewal incentive programs consistent with community policies. Resident Experience & Communication Deliver a welcoming, high‑touch resident experience from first contact through move‑in. Respond to questions, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and urgency. Support resident events and community‑building initiatives as assigned. Administrative & Systems Support Maintain accurate resident records in property management systems (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, Entrata). Track move‑in activity, documentation, and communications. Assist with reporting and operational tracking as requested by site leadership. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, or multi‑family housing experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple move‑ins simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with basic office technology and property management systems. Preferred Previous experience in multi‑family housing, leasing, or resident services.
