Gate Attendant

Gate Attendant / Marina Access Attendant We are looking for a reliable Gate Attendant to help manage access, customer service, and basic operations at our marina/storage facility. This role is important because you are often the first person customers interact with when entering the property. •Time and a half for overtime. The Gate Attendant will be responsible for checking people in, verifying who is allowed access, collecting payments when needed, answering phone calls, helping with reservations, and making sure the gate area stays organized and secure. Responsibilities Greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional way. Manage gate access for approved customers, renters, guests, and vendors. Check customers against the approved access list. Collect payments for stalls, storage, rentals, or other marina-related charges when needed. Answer phone calls and help with basic questions or reservations. Assist with morning and night shift coverage. Keep track of who enters and exits the property. Help maintain a clean and organized gate/check-in area. Communicate with management about customer issues, unpaid accounts, maintenance concerns, or unusual activity. Follow marina rules and help make sure customers do the same. Qualifications Reliable and on time. Good customer service and communication skills. Comfortable handling payments and basic records. Able to stay organized during busy times. Trustworthy and responsible with access control. Basic phone and computer skills preferred. Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or flexible shifts as needed.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
