Part Time PM Cook The Haywood has been a leader in the hospitality and hotel industry in Arkansas focusing on developing and managing team members that focus solely on our customers. Summary We are seeking a dedicated culinary professional to join our team at The Haywood in El Dorado, AR. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality food service and culinary excellence within our hotel restaurant. Located in an engaging environment, you will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu specifications. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development to enhance guest dining experiences. Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients effectively. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food preparation. Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the hotel's standards of quality. Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering collaboration among staff. Qualifications Proven experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen. Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
