Job Description
Locally owned and operated Wood Fire pizza restaurant looking to add to our team. We are currently looking for a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook's station, maintaining product presentations, product quality, cook time standards, and preparing all menu items according to recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. Duties will also include setting up of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of cooking equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift 25-50 pounds, use knives, slicing, and other food preparation equipment while standing, and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length. -All team members help out with dishes -We are closed on Sundays and Monday and close at 8 pm every day! Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and kitchen Everyone helps with dishes Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
