Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Grill Cook, where you'll be responsible for preparing and grilling a variety of menu items including burgers, fish, chicken, shrimp and other menu items. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your expertise in a fast-paced, environment while contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications, maintaining consistency and quality. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and other appliances safely and efficiently. Assist in food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure a hygienic workspace and safe food handling practices. Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding areas, adhering to sanitation standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-volume production meets service deadlines while upholding quality standards. Requirements MUST be available to work Friday 8:30am-5pm. Additional shifts will vary weekly, Monday-Thursday depending on the needs of the restaurant. Previous experience in food preparation, grilling, or restaurant kitchens is highly required. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely in a high-volume setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively communicate in high stress situations. A passion for food combined with a commitment to recipe adherence and meal preparation excellence.
