Opening Breakfast & Lunch Cook

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Opening Breakfast & Lunch Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in delivering fresh, flavorful, and nutritious meals to our guests at the start of each day. As an energetic and detail-oriented professional, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch offerings that meet high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and culinary excellence will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive. Duties Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch orders with precision and efficiency to ensure timely and quality service. Opening of the restaurant each morning on your shift so reliability and punctuality is a must. Follow established recipes, presentation, menu plans, portion sizes, and food safety protocols to maintain consistency and quality. Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, mixing, plating, and garnishing with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards at all times. Manage food inventory levels, restocking ingredients as needed to prevent shortages during service hours. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure meal service runs smoothly and efficiently. Requirements Strong background in breakfast line cooking and food handling within a restaurant setting. Must be reliable and have dependable attendance as will be opening the restaurant each morning and working the 6:30am-2pm shift. Ability to work 5 days per week, both weekday and weekend Must have own reliable transportation Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Maintain a neat, clean, and hygienic appearance Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask during busy service periods. Ability to remain calm during a breakfast or lunch rush, cooking multiple tickets at one time in an organized manner so quality food comes out timely and correctly. Work well will others and willing to help and support others where needed Previous Line Cooking experience in a full menu restaurant is essential.
