The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring that all dishes are delicious and presented beautifully. Your creativity in menu planning and meal preparation will play a key role in enhancing our dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Provide assistance during catering events, ensuring that all meals meet quality expectations. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Creativity in menu planning and willingness to experiment with new recipes. A passion for cooking and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
