Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and supporting the kitchen's smooth operation. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Whether you're slicing, cooking, or cleaning, your enthusiasm and teamwork will drive our kitchen's success every day! Duties Prepare ingredients through precise food handling, slicing techniques, and portioning to ensure consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by following recipes accurately and adhering to food safety standards in production. Cook a variety of dishes using appropriate kitchen equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Support meal preparation for service by assembling plates, garnishing dishes, and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by following cleaning protocols and operating sanitation equipment. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production, timing, and presentation. Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety standards, including proper storage and waste disposal. Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering services, or dietary departments is highly preferred. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety management, including proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Experience operating kitchen equipment like ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors. Proven ability to follow recipes closely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated understanding of food handling procedures, safety standards in production, and meal preparation processes.
