As a Sushi Cook, you will showcase your expertise in Japanese cuisine and contribute to our mission of delivering unparalleled hospitality. Your role will involve preparation of sushi dishes in accordance with Marriott's high standards and commitment to quality. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, ensuring consistent quality in line with Marriott's standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and related kitchen equipment. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and ensure guest satisfaction. Manage inventory of sushi supplies and place orders as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment. Required Skills Proficiency in various sushi preparation techniques (rolling, cutting, and presentation) Knowledge of traditional and modern Japanese culinary practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food service
