DESCRIPTION

The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager. The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position.

Purpose:
To maintain food service and cleanliness of cafeteria.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the Cafeteria.
  • Prepares salad bar.
  • Sets up service stations.
  • Stacks dishes and glasses of racks for washing.
  • Tracks covers served per meal.
  • Posting menu on daily/weekly basis.
  • Dishes up food during service.
Tools and Equipment:
  • Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart,
Working Environment:
  • Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
