Goal of this position The Line Cook food to high-quality standards The Line Cook reports directly to the Manager Job Responsibilities Prepare food to the highest of quality by either following a set recipe or as directed by management Properly manage tickets and keep things in an orderly fashion. Communicating well and maintaining a great attitude. Daily prepare food and carry out any further tasks as directed by Kitchen Manager Keep overall cleanliness of kitchen as described on side worksheets Follows opening, midday, and closing procedures Takes out all trash and boxes in the morning, midday, and after closing Our Expectations We as a company strive to treat each other and our customers with dignity and respect. Must obtain a Coconino Food Handlers Certification within a month of start date. Work Environment Movement is spent in high-traffic areas while performing various tasks. The position is exposed to high energy, loud music, dim lighting,and narrow passageways for long periods of time (8+ hours). In this position you will be working with sharp objects, knives, slicers, mixers, blenders, etc. You will also be working with fire and hot equipment including things such as; ovens, open flame burners, char broiler, griddle, and deep fryers. Physical Demands The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours). Requires at times high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat. Requires the lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Hourly position that requires a flexible schedule, often-working workdays, weekends, and holidays.
