The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and an understanding of kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience in our fine dining establishment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all food products. Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed. Support the culinary team during peak service times by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary roles preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment. Familiarity with menu planning and food preparation techniques is highly desirable.
