Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook/Wok Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of food handling practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques at all times. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for catering events or special occasions. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Follow all dietary department protocols when preparing meals for specific dietary needs. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles such as line cook or prep cook. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives and cooking appliances. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Experience working in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment.
