English First Aid Certification Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Attractively prepare meals that are appealing and tasty and served at the right temperature per the menu and schedule Prepare special limited diets per policy Identify menu errors and makes appropriate corrections as needed, bring the necessary changes to the Director of Culinary's attention Properly store, date, and rotate food per food handling guidelines Follow kitchen cleaning schedule Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner Keep environment safe and clean Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor Carry and posses a working knowledge of community paging system
Uniform Demands:
Clean white collared shirt Chef coat (we provide) Black head cover (we provide) Black Pants Black closed toe shoes. Community wide jewelry and dress policy
Special Demands:
Must be in good physical and mental health. Must posses an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality and be congenial with fellow employees, residents, and the public at large. Must be an honest and dependable individual. Must maintain proper hygiene. Must be professional in dress and presentation. Must be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in standard English and use own judgment and initiative in daily activities. Must be a mature individual. Must posses the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice. Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Must be detail and team work oriented. Must posses a current CPR/First Aid certificate and update as needed. Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements. Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely. Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations. The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living.
