Cook/Prep

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cook or Prep Cook to join our kitchen team morning and night shift. The Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation.

Duties:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
• Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the guidance of the Chef
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages

Skills:

• Experience in breakfast
• Proficiency with knives and kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Experience in meal preparation and culinary techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Menu planning experience
• Background in the food industry
• Understanding of food handling procedures
