Role:
As a key member of the kitchen team, responsibilities include:
Yakitori :
Skillfully preparing and skewering a variety of yakitori ingredients, mastering the grilling techniques to ensure perfect texture and flavor for each skewer.
Culinary Expertise:
Preparing and cooking a diverse range of Japanese dishes, upholding the highest standards of authenticity and taste.
Food Preparation:
Assisting with all aspects of food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and kitchen environment, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Team Collaboration:
Working effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
Inventory and Stock:
Assisting with inventory management and ensuring proper storage of ingredients to preserve freshness.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting. Specialized experience in yakitori preparation, including skewering and grilling techniques ( training is provided ). A solid understanding of various Japanese dishes and cooking methods. Strong knife skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a strong work ethic. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Adherence to all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
