Built around great food, drinks, sports and a social atmosphere, our kitchen will feature an approachable menu with international fusion influences alongside familiar American favorites. We are looking for a dependable and organized Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations and help our culinary team consistently execute the Fuse Social menu. Responsibilities Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, dressings, garnishes and other ingredients according to recipes and specifications. Follow established recipes, portion standards and prep procedures. Label, date, rotate and properly store food using FIFO procedures. Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food-handling practices. Assist with receiving, organizing and storing deliveries. Monitor prep levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership. Maintain clean and organized refrigerators, storage areas and prep stations. Minimize food waste through proper preparation, handling and portioning. Assist line cooks and other kitchen team members as needed. Follow all sanitation, food safety and workplace safety procedures. Complete opening, shift and closing duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant prep or kitchen experience preferred. Basic knife skills and knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment preferred. Ability to follow recipes, measurements and portion specifications accurately. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization and food quality. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the lifting, bending and repetitive tasks normally associated with restaurant kitchen work, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must obtain and maintain any food-handler certification required by applicable law.
