Full Job Description Schedule:

Full-Time | 7:30 AM

•3:30 PM We are a residential detox and treatment organization seeking an experienced Cook to prepare fresh, healthy meals for approximately 12-18 clients daily. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering, meal-prep, institutional kitchen, residential treatment, senior living, or similar high-volume cooking experience. We are looking for someone who can independently plan, prepare, and execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness, and organization. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for approximately 12-18 clients each day Prepare meals in batches for service across our residential facilities Follow established menus while maintaining variety, quality, and presentation Prepare healthy, balanced meals using fresh ingredients Accommodate reasonable dietary restrictions and food allergies Portion and package meals appropriately for delivery to additional facilities when needed Maintain proper food temperatures during preparation, storage, and transportation Monitor food inventory and communicate grocery and supply needs Minimize food waste and properly rotate inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling requirements Ensure meals are prepared on schedule each day Qualifications Previous professional cooking experience required Catering, banquet, meal-prep, institutional, healthcare, residential treatment, or high-volume cooking experience strongly preferred Comfortable independently preparing meals for 12-18+ people Strong understanding of food preparation, portioning, timing, and kitchen organization Experience preparing healthy, balanced meals Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures Ability to manage multiple dishes and meal periods efficiently Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in a residential treatment environment Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire What We're Looking For We are not looking for someone who only has experience working a single station in a restaurant. The ideal candidate has experience with catering or preparing complete meals for groups and understands how to efficiently prepare multiple dishes, proteins, sides, vegetables, and meals in volume. We want someone who takes pride in food quality and can consistently provide our clients with meals that are healthy, fresh, well-prepared, and enjoyable.
