• MUST HAVE SATURDAY & SUNDAY AVAILABILITY

• Grilling experience mandatory

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cook menu items in collaboration with the all kitchen staff .Know how to grill
• Prepare menu items, such as grilling meat, steaming rice, and chopping vegetables according to brand standards
• Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, etc.
• Prepare, set-up, and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Answer, report and follow supervisor instructions
• Clean up station and take care proper disposal of food scraps
• Comply with any customer nutrition regulations
• Adhere to company sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Complete side work for station and shift.
• Close the kitchen correctly. Follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing stations and the kitchen.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on duty
• Sweep and mop behind the line

Skills:

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Ability to Expo food, which includes, reading tickets, organizing customer orders, and delegating to ensure food is delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
• Familiar with industry's best practices
• Build all orders correctly for each ticket
• Comply with all food safety requirements such as checking and maintaining temperature, dating and labeling products, rotating products so that oldest is used first.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
• Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
• Cleaning and sanitation of work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, burners, ovens and refrigeration equipment.

Physical Demand Requirements:

• Frequent reaching above waist, chest and shoulder level as well as and reaching below waist level.
• Frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity of both hands (pushing, pulling, handling, gripping, fine finger controls, etc.).
• Frequent exposure to cold/ below freezing and high heat temperatures (walk-in refrigerator, freezers, and ovens)
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, squat, climb, carry and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bending, squatting, stooping for cleaning activities throughout the shift.
• Able to work in a hot, damp environment.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to: cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
• Frequent washing of hands.
• Able to stand for 8 hours on hard surface - walks and stands during entire shift.

• Able to read and understand recipes
• Able to understand and follow all policies and procedures
