Job Summary Join our culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing Hawaiian dishes, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your food industry expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and presentation ideas Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and mixers Maintain strict food safety standards in all aspects of food handling, storage, and preparation Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas through regular cleaning and sanitation Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Follow safety protocols during food production to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, restaurant or catering setting required Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Familiarity with food industry standards for safety management, recipe adherence, and meal preparation Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Demonstrated understanding of food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Join us in creating memorable dining moments by bringing your culinary talent and enthusiasm to our team!
