Specialty Lead Cook - SR Prime Sky River Casino - 3.1 Elk Grove, CA Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Guest relations ServSafe Customer service Employee relationship building High school diploma or GED Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Under the guidance of the SR Prime Executive Chef, the SR Prime Specialty Lead Cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all hot entrees, proper portion control and plating of ordered items in SR Prime. Supervises the work of cooks to ensure that all given tasks are completed in a timely manner. Ensures that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary meal ingredients and cooking equipment. Prepares all hot entrees and proper portion control of items ordered for assigned outlet. Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration, and storage of all food items. Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information. Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations. Works in a safe manner at all times. Assists in other kitchens of the Casino as necessary. Maintains the work area clean and organized. Deep cleans the area at the end of shifts. Follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling. Attends periodic meetings and training sessions. Meets guests' needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older. High school Diploma or education equivalent required. Food service or Culinary Arts degree 3 years' steakhouse kitchen and 5 years' overall culinary experience. Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct. Is this position responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages or do they have comp authority?
