Starting Pay:
$20.00 or Negotiable Base On Experience. Overview Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Cook to join our dietary team Emmanuel Care Center Travis. The Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs and physician-ordered diets.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to menus and therapeutic diets Follow sanitation, food safety, and infection control guidelines Assist with food preparation, serving, and clean-up Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing team Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience in Skilled nursing facility ( long-term care preferred) Knowledge of special diets a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and positive attitude
