The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of meal preparation within a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. Duties
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary department guidelines.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Requirements
  • Proven experience in a culinary role or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
