As a key member of our culinary operations, the Planchero will be responsible for expertly preparing and cooking a variety of dishes on the hot plate, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor. Your energy, attention to detail, and passion for food will drive success in this lively role. Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes on the hot plate with precision, speed, and consistency. Follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station at all times. Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper storage to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate meal preparation efficiently. Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and notifying supervisors of shortages. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably with hot plate expertise. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-energy environment. Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
