In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to safety standards will ensure that every dish meets our quality expectations and delights our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, food-focused setting while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence. Duties Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications Assist in assembling dishes during service, ensuring timely and accurate presentation Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors safely and efficiently Follow food safety protocols including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices to prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines Support menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for upcoming meals or catering events Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or food service environments Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient handling Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food safety management practices Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to portion control guidelines Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen team members Familiarity with operating various kitchen appliances and equipment safely Experience in catering or large-scale meal preparation is a plus Understanding of dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is advantageous Join us if you're passionate about creating delicious dishes, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to grow your culinary skills!
