The ideal candidate will have experience in food service (fine dining experience is a plus), and a strong understanding of scratch cooking, food preparation, and proper handling. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, comforting meals that reflect the heart of Polish culinary traditions while also meeting our guests' dietary and service expectations. Duties In this position, you will be responsible for: Setting up and stocking your station with all necessary supplies and ingredients Preparing components of traditional Polish dishes (e.g., chopping vegetables, preparing dough, marinating meats, making sauces from scratch) Cooking menu items to order and collaborating with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure efficient service Following recipes, preparation guidelines, and presentation standards for dishes such as pierogi, gołąbki, kotlety schabowe, placki ziemniaczane, and more Cleaning and maintaining your station, properly storing leftovers Stocking and rotating inventory as needed Ensuring that dishes are prepared consistently, served hot and fresh, and presented with care Complying with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized back-of-house (BOH) at all times Supporting a respectful, positive, and professional environment for both coworkers and guests
Experience What We're Looking For:
Previous cooking experience (experience with Polish/Eastern European cuisine and speak Polish is a big plus—but we're happy to train!) Passion for home-style, scratch-made food Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and teamwork Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays A positive attitude and desire to grow within the kitchen Why Join Us?
