Job Description
Cashier / Cook / Stocker Job Duties Customer Service & Cashier Duties Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate cash register and process cash, credit card, debit card, EBT, and other payments. Accurately handle cash and maintain balanced cash drawers. Assist customers with product locations, pricing, and general inquiries. Promote store specials and upsell products when appropriate. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Follow company policies regarding age-restricted sales and lottery transactions. Cook Duties Prepare food items according to company recipes and food safety standards. Cook, assemble, and package customer orders accurately and efficiently. Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation. Maintain proper food temperatures and storage procedures. Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils. Restock food ingredients and supplies as needed. Follow all health department regulations and safety guidelines. Stocker Duties Receive, unload, and organize merchandise deliveries. Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and display areas. Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures. Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management. Ensure products are properly labeled and priced. Keep aisles, storage rooms, and displays clean and organized. Assist with inventory counts and audits. General Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Follow all company policies and procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties. Take out trash and maintain store cleanliness inside and outside the premises. Work as part of a team to ensure efficient store operations. Perform additional duties assigned by management.
