Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials to keep offerings exciting Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times Support food service operations by plating dishes promptly and accurately for timely delivery to guests Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness of ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service hours, maintaining a lively team environment Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, showcasing strong culinary skills and knife proficiency Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure a safe dining environment Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure Experience with catering or large-scale food service operations is a plus, indicating adaptability in diverse settings Strong understanding of menu planning principles and food presentation techniques Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating effectively with team members Embark on a flavorful journey with us!
