Set inside the John F. and Julia Brossart House, a beautifully restored 1887 Victorian on the National Register of Historic Places, Viola's brings together the warmth of Southern hospitality with the craft of a French bistro. Our menu is rooted in brasserie technique, with small plates, brunch, and dinner, served in one of the San Gabriel Valley's most storied settings. We are building an opening kitchen team and looking for cooks who are skilled, consistent, and serious about their work.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing and executing dishes from our brunch and dinner menus with consistency and care Following recipes, plating standards, and portion guidelines on every plate Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout each shift Completing mise en place and prep work at the start of each shift Communicating clearly with the kitchen team during service Assisting with receiving, rotating, and properly storing deliveries Following all food safety, sanitation, and temperature standards Contributing to opening and closing duties for the kitchen

What We're Looking For:

2 or more years of line cook experience in a full-service restaurant required Valid Food Handler's Card required Solid fundamentals — knife skills, station organization, and the ability to execute consistently under pressure Experience with French or brasserie-style cooking strongly preferred Comfortable working both brunch and dinner service A calm, focused presence during a busy service Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their station Team-oriented and communicates clearly in a kitchen environment
