In this role, you will be the heart of our food service operation, specializing in preparing authentic Mexican-style tacos and other traditional dishes. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and dedication to food safety will ensure every plate served is a delightful experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of tacos and related dishes with precision and flair, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation. Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen area, adhering to all health regulations. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in dish quality. Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely and quality meal service. Keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and clean to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or kitchen settings, is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards. Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
