Job Description

Best Western Plus Tree House is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring food quality aligns with our established recipes and procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a positive guest experience. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and knives safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dining needs, including catering events if applicable Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and service timelines Ensure food safety management protocols are followed at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Support the team in adhering to all safety standards in food production and kitchen operations Experience Previous experience working in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering services, or institutional kitchens Knowledge of culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence Familiarity with food safety standards and food handling procedures Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to follow safety regulations and maintain high-quality food preparation standards Join us as a Cook and bring your culinary passion to life while helping create memorable dining experiences! Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
