Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver visually appealing meals Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning to minimize waste Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining high standards Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or dining staff, ensuring a positive dining experience Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly valued for understanding special dietary needs Extensive culinary experience with strong knife skills, food preparation, and meal assembly expertise Solid background in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices within restaurant or food industry settings Ability to plan menus creatively while managing time effectively during busy service hours Knowledge of food service operations, including catering and serving techniques Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary passion to life in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real difference!
