Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols Support kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently handling food prep and plating tasks Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry Experience with menu planning, catering, or restaurant operations is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
