This dynamic position combines the fast-paced environment of a quick service and fast food restaurant with the welcoming atmosphere of a café or retail food setting. You will be responsible for preparing delicious menu items, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Your energy, culinary skills, and dedication to excellent service will help create memorable moments for our customers while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Prepare a variety of food items efficiently and according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shifts, including balancing registers at the end of each shift. Assist with food prep tasks like chopping, assembling ingredients, or bussing tables to support smooth restaurant operations. Support team members during busy periods by multitasking efficiently in both cashiering and food preparation roles. Experience Previous experience in food service or a quick service/fast food restaurant environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience or kitchen background that includes food preparation and handling skills. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in a café or retail grocery store setting is a plus.
