The ideal candidate is hard-working, motivated, and has a passion for delicious food. This position will be responsible to assist with food preparation, prepare dishes, clean the kitchen, wash dishes, and more. Responsibilities Operate cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, and griddles Used equipment in the kitchen including stoves, slicers, knives and other utensils in a sanitary and safe manner Preparing to order all food dishes following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits Follow compliance for cooking and storing procedures that ensure appropriate temperatures are reached and maintained for food to be safe for consumption Prepping assigned items associated with assigned station; ensuring freshness of ingredients; labeling prepped ingredients with name of item, date Perform dishwasher duties and general cleaning duties Team Player and understands that it takes a team to keep our kitchen's moving Qualifications Minimum education level: High School diploma or GED Valid CA food handler's certification Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to work on time Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
