Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
High-Volume Meal Preparation:
Prepare and cook large quantities of meals with a focus on maintaining excellent flavor and presentation.
Portion Consistency:
Ensure every meal is portioned accurately and consistently to meet client and operational standards.
Quality Control:
Taste and inspect food regularly to ensure it meets quality, flavor, and safety standards.
Food Safety:
Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices to guarantee the safety of every plate served.
Efficient Workflow:
Work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Organization:
Keep your workstation clean and organized, ensuring tools and ingredients are always ready for use.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with chefs, prep cooks, and other kitchen staff to streamline operations.
Inventory Management:
Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of shortages to avoid delays.
Adaptability:
Quickly adjust to changing demands and menu requirements while maintaining focus and precision.
Qualifications:
Preferred but not required 1 Year experience in high-volume cooking or catering. Proven ability to prepare large quantities of food while maintaining flavor and presentation. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices. Excellent attention to detail, especially in portioning and plating consistency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
