We provide freshly prepared breakfast and lunch for IEHP employees and visitors in a fast-paced and welcoming environment. Our management team brings over 100 years of combined experience in corporate dining and hospitality. We are passionate about delivering great food while creating a supportive workplace where team members can grow their culinary careers. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as The Lunch Box reopened in late March 2026.

Work Schedule Hours:

Approx. 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Weekdays only Initially operating Tuesday-Thursday , with plans to expand to Monday-Friday Closed on weekends and major national holidays This schedule provides a great work-life balance for culinary professionals . •

Job Overview:

•Food Preparation Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef during daily prep Maintain proper food handling and food safety standards Keep prep stations clean and organized Team Support Work collaboratively with kitchen staff during service Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen tools and equipment Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties as needed Help maintain an efficient workflow in the kitchen Support overall kitchen operations in a high-volume environment Qualifications Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife skills Ability to follow food safety and sanitation practices Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a busy kitchen environment If you possess a passion for culinary excellence, have experience in casual dining establishments, and are ready to take on a leadership role in the kitchen in the future, we invite you to apply for the Prep Cook or Dishwasher position with us.
