Duties Prepare and cook wok-based dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and refining existing recipes to enhance flavor profiles Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all kitchen tools and equipment are clean and properly stored Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours, supporting overall restaurant operations Support catering events by preparing large quantities of dishes while maintaining quality control Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various cutting techniques safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable Excellent food service skills with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards This role is paid and offers an exciting chance to develop your culinary talents in a lively, supportive environment.
