Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met at all times. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while providing friendly customer service. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end. Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food safety procedures such as proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for all. Support food industry operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting in basic kitchen tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; culinary experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing sales. Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order preparation. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for retail transactions is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team setting within a busy café or retail store environment. Basic kitchen experience or grocery store familiarity is beneficial for supporting various operational tasks.
