We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hardworking Cook to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in food preparation, enjoys working in a team environment, and thrives in a busy kitchen. Position Summary The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering excellent food and service. Responsibilities Prepare and cook specialty seafood, mexican dishes, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards Operate fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and plating meals Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Support catering orders and special events by preparing and serving food as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Keep workstations, kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment clean and organized Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and kitchen cleaning duties Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining quality and accuracy Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional customer experiences Qualifications Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred Experience with seafood preparation, mexican food, fry cooking, or high-volume kitchens is a plus Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Availability to work either mornings, evenings, overnight or weekends Food Safety Certification preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Bilingual in Spanish recommended What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Employee meal discounts Friendly and supportive team environment Hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting Apply Today!
