Job Overview Full-Time CookPosition:
$21.63 per hour
Compensation:
Friday through Tuesday (Fixed days off: Wednesday and Thursday)
Schedule:
Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed therapeutic diets and textures. Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness. Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines. Ensure meals are served timely, hot, and presented beautifully for our residents. Assist with inventory, restocking, and proper food storage. Qualifications Experience cooking in a healthcare, senior living, or high-volume commercial kitchen preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food-handling practices. Ability to work reliably on weekends (Friday-Sunday). Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude. Compassion for the elderly and a commitment to quality service.
